Newton-john cancels US tour as cancer returns
Olivia Newton-john has announced that her breast cancer has returned, forcing her to cancel her US and Canada tour.
The 68-year-old British-born singer, who moved to Australia when she was six, was first treated for breast cancer in 1992. She had a partial mastectomy, chemotherapy and breast reconstruction before becoming a campaigner for breast cancer research. She originally simply postponed this tour, thinking she had sciatica, but yesterday said her cancer had returned, and had spread to her back.
