I’ll stay Speaker until 2022, says U-turn Bercow

John Bercow has said he wants to remain as Commons Speaker until 2022, despite previously pledging to stand down next year. He said the snap election and EU referendum had persuaded him to change his mind. Mr Bercow and told Sky News that if he is re-elected as MP in Buckingham, he will serve for a full term.
