Shady shades

SIR – Juliet Bothams (Letters, May 29) asks about the effects of wearing sunglasses. My advice would be not to wear sunglasses to a job interview, not to insist on keeping them on when going through passport control, and not to keep them on when interacting with others if she wants to build close relationships.
