BEST FOR HEELS… MANDARINA
I distinctly remember my mother having multiple pairs of pointed-toe, kittenheel slingbacks when I was growing up, and telling her at length how heinous they were. But since a) fashion is cyclical, and b) teenagers are the worst, I’m having to eat my words. The shoes I once slandered are now the thing, as demonstrated by Dior’s sell-out slogan pair. Manolo Blahnik’s are also fabulous (no surprises there), but I’ll be buying into British label Mandarina instead. This navy buckled pair are particularly good, and much more affordable than their catwalk counterparts. One word of caution – best stick to paved areas.
