Grande single soars up the charts after Manchester concert

-

ARIANA GRANDE’S song One Last Time is already heading for number one following the pop star’s emotional rendition of the track at the One Love Manchester concert.

The single has reached second position in the official charts less than a day after the all-star show at Old Trafford.

Grande, 23, was joined by musicians including Katy Perry, Chris Martin, and Niall Horan at Sunday’s special event, which paid tribute to the 22 victims of the Manchester Arena terror attack.

The song, which peaked at number 11 just two weeks ago, is now second in the singles chart behind Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee’s remix of Despacito, featuring Justin Bieber.

Grande sang the track backed by her fellow performers at the show, before closing with a solo rendition of Somewhere Over The Rainbow.

Afterwards, many took to social media to express their gratitude to the singer for organising the night, which is estimated to have raised more than £4million to help victims of the attack.
