Vodafone makes first move on abusive ads

Vodafone, one of the world’s biggest advertisin­g spenders, is cracking down on fake news and extremism online. The telecoms giant will avoid its advertisin­g appearing next to material that is “fundamenta­lly at odds” with its “values and beliefs”. It will only place ads on pre-approved outlets.
