May urges voters to defy terrorism

Theresa May has urged people to come out and vote tomorrow to send a message that “democracy will not be deterred” by terrorism. The Prime Minister said police would protect voters.

Police forces across the country have reviewed security measures for the election in the wake of the terror attacks, with some planning to deploy armed officers at polling stations.
