BBC and Dimbleby claim election victory

ITV may have had George Osborne and Ed Balls, but the BBC still won the election coverage ratings battle. An average of 4.4million people – a 39 per cent share – tuned into David Dimbleby on the BBC between 10pm and 2am while just 1.1million watched ITV over the same period.
