-

RADIO 2, 1.30PM

Jeremy Vine reprises his moving series in which he speaks to the mothers of British soldiers who were killed in conflict, asking them to reflect on the music their sons loved best, and to share their memories. In this first episode in the series, Vine’s guest is Sarah Adams, from Cwmbran in South Wales, whose son, infantryman James Prosser, was killed in Helmand, aged just 21. Sarah remembers James’s affection for rock star Bon Jovi, rappers Eminem and Nelly, and his unusual music choices for his own funeral.
