Leslie branded a ‘sad, bitter man’

A former Labour frontbencher has been condemned by an ally of Jeremy Corbyn for criticising Labour’s campaign. Chris Leslie, a former shadow chancellor, said Mr Corbyn had missed an “open goal” in failing to win the general election. Clive Lewis, a former shadow business secretary, told BBC Radio 5 Live: “I think Chris Leslie is a sad, lonely, bitter man.”
