London terror attack inquest begins

The mother of Australian nanny Sara Zelenak heard how her daughter’s throat was slashed in the London Bridge terror attack as a coroner warned them the inquest will be “one of the most horrible things” to endure.

Julie Wallace heard how her daughter died of her injuries as the inquest at Southwark Coroner’s Court began yesterday. The inquest will be suspended until the police investigat­ion is completed.
