Qatar accused over ‘tainted’ food

Food poisoning at a camp for refugees from Mosul has killed at least two people and left 752 ill, Iraq’s health minister said yesterday.

Some officials accused a Qatar-based charity of providing tainted food. That could not be confirmed and the Qatari government did not immediately comment.

Seven people have been arrested after the incident at the Hassan Sham U2 camp near Erbil.
