The Oxfordshire congress has taken place at Marlborough School Enterprise Centre in Woodstock, writes Julian Pottage, Bridge Correspondent. Both the Swiss Pairs and Swiss Teams events had 7 matches with 20 victory points at stake in each match and the winners are as follows:

Swiss Pairs: 1st Graham Pollack and Andrew Whittome, 114 VPS; 2nd Martin Lee and Dan O’farrell, 104 VPS; 3rd= Adrian

Fontes and Michael Gwilliam, 101 VPS; 3rd= Geoff Nicholas and Debbie Roberts, 101 VPS; and 3rd= Peter Finbow and Lynn Hayes, 101 VPS.

Swiss Teams: 1st Liz Commins, David Stevenson, Dee Lindon and Peter Lindon, 103 VPS; 2nd Adrian Orlowski, Laura Cecilia Porro, Gad Chadha and Corneliu Rimboiu, 100 VPS; and 3rd June Ball, Helen Robinson, John Eyre and Jill Mumford, 95 VPS.
