Rail overtime ban could bring delays

Southern Railway passengers face fresh disruption from the end of the month because of a ban on overtime by drivers, despite a 23 per cent increase in their pay.

Services were badly disrupted the last time Aslef launched an overtime ban.

Govia Thameslink Railway said its offer to drivers would take their base salary to £60,683 for a four-day week.
