The Queen and The Duke of Cambridge this morning met local residents and representatives from the Fire Service and Police Service affected by the Grenfell Tower fire at Westway Sports Centre, Crowthorne Road, London W10, and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-lieutenant of Greater London (Mr Kenneth Olisa) and the Mayor of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (Councillor Marietherese Rossi).
Her Majesty and His Royal Highness also met volunteers and Council staff.
The President of the Czech Republic and Mrs Zemanová visited The Queen this afternoon.
Air Chief Marshal Sir Stuart Peach (Chief of the Defence Staff) was received by Her Majesty.
The Duke of Edinburgh, Colonel, Grenadier Guards, this evening presided over a Conference at Buckingham Palace attended by the Colonels of the Regiments of the Household Division and subsequently entertained the Colonels to Dinner.
The Prince of Wales, on behalf of The Queen, held an Investiture at Buckingham Palace this morning.
Mrs Helen Nellis (Her Majesty’s Lord-lieutenant of Bedfordshire) was present at London Luton Airport this morning upon the Arrival of The President of the Czech Republic and Mrs Zemanová and welcomed Their Excellencies on behalf of The Queen.

The Duchess of Cornwall this morning attended the live broadcast of the BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show’s 500 Words Final at HM Tower of London.

The Duke of Cambridge, Patron, this afternoon visited the site of the Defence and National Rehabilitation Centre at Stanford Hall Estate, Stanford on Soar, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-lieutenant of Nottinghamshire (Sir John Peace).
