The King's African Rifles and East African Forces Association

The High Commissioner for Kenya and Viscount Slim, President, Burma Star Association, were the principal guests at the 70th annual dinner of The King's African Rifles and East African Forces Association held last night at the Army and Navy Club. Brig David Williams presided. Among others present were:

Brig Gen Blackson Nyoni, Brig Matthew Gureme, Col Sydney Linyama, Col Joseph Mokwena, Col Jackson Mwaseba and representatives of the Royal West African Frontier Force.

The Royal Hospital School Combined Cadet Force

The Royal Hospital School CCF held its 18th annual guest night dinner last night in the Jellicoe Room at the School. Lt Col Marc Godfrey, Contingent Commander, presided and Col A.B. Jackson, Deputy Commander-designate, 16 Air Assault Brigade, also spoke.
