Traces of cocaine found in Carrie Fisher’s body

Carrie Fisher had traces of cocaine, heroin and ecstasy in her body when she died suddenly after a cardiac arrest in December, according to a full post mortem report released yesterday.

The report from the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner could not ascertain what effect the drugs may have had on her system.

Coroner’s officials ruled last week that the actress’s death was due to sleep apnea and other causes.

Although Ms Fisher, 60, had spoken openly about her battle with addiction, it was not known whether she had ongoing issues with drugs.
