Gown and out

The 151st Trinity May Ball, for which guests paid £500 per couple, saw Cambridge students tuck into oysters, a hog roast and a chocolate fountain, while drinks were served from a punt on the river. For some (below), the excess proved all too much. Others survived to see in the champagne breakfast on the lawn, after their revels on the Cam (left).
