Playboy model joins Strictly professionals
STRICTLY Come Dancing champion Joanne Clifton is leaving the BBC show in a shake-up that will see a former Playboy model join the professional dancers.
Clifton, who partnered Ore Oduba to victory last year, is one of three dancers who will not return for the 2017 series this September. Oksana Platero and Natalie Lowe are also leaving. Their replacements are Ukrainian-born Nadiya Bychkova, Australian Dianne Buswell and British national champion Amy Dowden. Bychkova, 27, previously posed for Playboy magazine. A ballroom and Latin champion, she has appeared on the Bosnian version of Strictly.
Buswell, 28, is an Australian Open champion who performed on the Australian version of the television show.
Dowden, 26, from Caerphilly in South Wales, said joining the BBC One show “has made my wildest dreams come true”.
