Playing it straight Keys to a successful job interview

The Daily Telegraph - - News -

Do

Use words that show you understand yourself. This suggests subtlety and sensitivity. “I think”, “I sense”, “this feels” fit the bill. Simple conjunctions like“but”, “and”, “or” work well.

Don’t

Be a robot. Over-prepared answers sound inauthentic and indicate an absence of self-evaluation. – Be too honest if you are not well suited for the job; that could make it worse.
