SIR – On Saturday a neighbour had two packages delivered in half an hour. I had one 20 minutes later. Each was brought by a different company.

A central sorting office with one company delivering all the packages to an area in one go would massively reduce vehicle journeys.

What could we call the company? How about Royal Mail?
