This shocking CCTV footage shows Simon Smith, 53, being knocked over by an out-of-control bus – before amazingly getting up, brushing himself down and walking into a pub. Reading Buses said it was investigating Saturday morning’s “awful incident” and the driver had been suspended. Stuart Mcnaught, manager of the Purple Turtle bar, said: “We’ve known Simon for 20 years. He’s bruised and shocked, I think, but OK now. It’s absolutely crazy.”
