Boy used app to save Snapchat sex shots

-

 An app that bypasses Snapchat safety features allowed a 15-year-old boy to bully girls as young as 12 into sending him sexually graphic pictures, a court was told.

Girls who gave in to his threats had used Snapchat to send him pictures, thinking they would disappear after several seconds. But it emerged during the hearing at Blackpool Magistrates’ Court that the boy used an app to store the images. Handing down a sexual harm prevention order, District Judge Jeff Brailsford said: “These offences are so serious you could be locked up.” But, he added, it “would not help you draw a line under your behaviour.” The boy admitted two offences of taking and distributing indecent images of girls from his school.
