Intolerant tolerance

SIR – It is bizarre that a school for girls aged between three and eight is failing an Ofsted inspection because it does not actively promote transgender issues (report, June 26).

Our community promotes the tolerance of all, no matter what their background or life choices, but we draw the line at publicly having to teach small girls these delicate and nuanced topics. Tolerance works both ways, a message which Ofsted should take on board. Rabbi Abraham Pinter
