Woman killed as doctor opens fire at hospital

One woman has been killed after a doctor opened fire in a Bronx hospital, injuring at least six others before shooting himself.

The gunman, who was wearing a white lab coat, was identified by police as Dr Henry Bello, 45. The hospital website lists a Henry Bello as a doctor working in family medicine.

Five of the six victims were reported to have been seriously wounded. A fire hose was said to have been used as a tourniquet to treat one injured doctor.
