Flaming craze

-

Fidget spinners – which resemble revolving casters – have been bursting into flame. But only in America, and only if fitted with Wi-fi, and only models made in China. So it seems we can suffer the normal version of the craze a little longer without our houses burning down. All such crazes become health scares. In the Seventies, clackers shattered. In the Fifties it was said hula hoops endangered viscera and morals. As for the yo-yo, it might have been designed as a fatal weapon. Yet is any toy as dangerous as sitting idle at a screen?
