Blue-green often seen

SIR–JC Drury( Letters, July 3) cannot be correct in calling the world’s favourite colour Cambridge blue.

Having rowed in a winning Oxford boat in the 1977 Boat Race, I saw a lot of Cambridge blue behind us: Cambridge’s colours are officially duck-egg green of course, not blue.
