SIR – I object to the BBC presuming that everyone wants to be fed Wimbledon ad nauseum.

To take over BBC One and Two is so inconsiderate.

SIR – I’ve had to abandon television because I cannot bear to watch Rafa Nadal’s constant twitching. Why doesn’t he get different underwear?

The risk, however, is that I might miss him being beaten and deny myself the joy of his tennis.
