China allows in medics to treat Nobel laureate

China is to invite foreign experts into the country to help treat Liu Xiaobo, the political prisoner and Nobel laureate who is terminally ill, in a softening of their stance not to allow him out of the country for care. He was taken from prison to hospital last month after he was diagnosed with liver cancer.
