Morrissey says he was terrorised by police

The singer Morrissey believed he was about to be shot during a confrontation in Rome with an “aggressive” police officer whom he accused of pulling out his gun. The former frontman for The Smiths said he was “terrorised” for more than half an hour in the historic centre of the capital after driving on the wrong side of the road. Police said they acted quickly to stop the car because of heightened terror concerns.
