Wimbledon queues the longest in years

-

PRIME tickets for today’s action at Wimbledon sold out a full 40 hours in advance as tennis fans attempted to catch British players Johanna Konta and Andy Murray in action.

Fans queued up to two days in advance of Middle Monday, the point in the tournament where all 16 finalists in both the men and women’s singles play on the same day. They created some of the longest queues at the tournament in years.

The All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club put the demand for tickets down to fine weather and a strong British showing early in the week.
