Three arrests over Henley Regatta rape
♦ Three men were arrested yesterday on suspicion of raping a woman after the Henley Regatta.
The suspects were detained hours after CCTV images of three people were released by detectives as they continued to investigate the attack.
The men, aged 23, 24 and 26, are from Bedford and Loughborough. They were interviewed and released pending further inquiries.
The woman, who is in her 20s, was attacked after she left the regatta with a group of people she met there in the early hours of July 2. Det Insp Ali Driver, of Thames Valley Police, said: “The victim is being supported by specially-trained officers.”
