Corrections and Clarifications

Sir David Edward

Further to our interview with former ECJ judge Professor Sir David Edward (July 12), we have been asked to make clear that Sir David, describing the likelihood of the ECJ ruling on the compatibility of any future agreement between the EU and the UK with EU law, did not say the court “could well say that it is not compatible”. He said, “If the court says it is not compatible”. We are happy to make this clear.
