Petropavlovsk CEO resigns

Pavel Maslovskiy, the chief executive and co-founder of Petropavlovsk, has quit less than a month after its chairman and fellow founder Peter Hambro and three non-executives were ousted from the gold mining company. Mr Hambro had been battling to prevent a major Russian investor from filleting up its board amid criticism the investor, Renova, was taking effective control.
