Everybody wants to look like Ivanka Trump

-

Her father’s administration may still be mired in scandal, and her brother, Little Don – or “Fredo Corleone”, as he’s known on Capitol Hill – having his worst fortnight since he compared Syrian refugees to “Skittles”, but Ivanka Trump is somehow emerging as “a role model”. Forget her Wharton Business School degree, her entrepreneurial skills and the fact that the 35-year-old speaks fluent French: it’s what she looks like that American women want to emulate.

“The aesthetic look is moving nationally from a Kardashian type to an Ivanka Trump look – less done,” Nyc-based aesthetic specialist Jill Caruso told the Hollywood Reporter. This is backed up by Beverly Hills surgeon Gabriel Chiu, who claims his clients “talk about cheekbones, how proportionate her face is, the combined features of her eyes, nose and lips”. Probably not exactly the kind of recognition the cleverest member of the Trump clan longs for, but when you’re a beautiful blonde in the public eye – and the daughter of Donald Trump – you take what you can get.
