The unequalled film composer John Williams – who has won five Academy Awards, 22 Grammys and seven Baftas – celebrates his 85th birthday this year, and the Proms mark the occasion with a concert of his best works. Live from the Royal Albert Hall, Keith Lockhart conducts the BBC Concert Orchestra and Haringey Vox in a programme including music from Raiders of the Lost Ark, Jaws, Superman, Star Wars, Harry Potter, ET and many more classics from the man who has defined the sound of modern film music.
