Sinatra’s fourth wife Barbara dies at 90

Frank Sinatra’s fourth and final wife died yesterday at home in California, aged 90.

Barbara Sinatra was a Las Vegas showgirl who had previously been married to Zeppo Marx, his neighbour in Palm Springs, when she met the singer. They married in 1976 in a private ceremony at the Annenberg Estate in Rancho Mirage, and were together for 22 years – his longest marriage. The couple remained married until his death in 1998.

In later life, she founded the Barbara Sinatra Children’s Centre.
