Sage buys US firm Intacct for $850m
Sage has agreed to buy US cloud-based software provider Intacct for $850m (£654m), made up of cash and share options. Britain’s largest software company, Sage, said it was buying the business as demand shifted towards the cloud, and to open up “huge opportunities” in the North American market. The purchase comes as Sage continues its transformation to become a leader in accounting software.
