Degree for teenager who once wanted right to die
A schoolgirl who went to court to claim her right to die only to change her mind has celebrated her university graduation.
Hannah Jones was 13 when, left drained by debilitating surgery to cure a fatal heart condition, she refused to have a transplant. She told the High Court she would rather die than undergo more hospital trauma. She made history by fending off a legal bid by medics to force her to have treatment. However, aged 14, she changed her mind.
She has now just celebrated achieving a degree in English and drama from Aberystwyth University.
