Passengers will today return to the Post Office’s abandoned underground railway for the first time since 2003 as the Postal Museum opens its doors. The 20-minute trip will stop at original Mount Pleasant sorting office platforms. A museum spokesman said: “It has that slight Mary Celeste quality.”
