Gender change – now?

SIR – We have unprecedented national debt, and a small change in the global economy could plunge us into the abyss. A descent into the socialism of Jeremy Corbyn’s gang has been avoided by a whisker. We are stalked by terror. Our Armed Forces are virtually impotent.

In the midst of this, Justine Greening, the minister for women and equalities (report, July 23), talks about changing gender at the stroke of a pen.

The problem is that this ridiculous notion sets the tone for the public view of the whole Government. Peter Richards
