Rotork shares slump as long-serving boss exits

Shares in Rotork dived by 7.5pc as it revealed its chief executive Peter France was leaving with immediate effect following a lacklustre performance from the FTSE 250 firm. The engineer, which makes valve systems for the oil and gas industry, said the chairman Martin Lamb would take on the role in the short term.
