Prince Henry of Wales this morning visited a summer holiday activity run by Newham Council’s leisure trust, Active Newham, as part of the Streetgame­s Fit and Fed Initiative at Central Park, Newham, London E6, and was received by Mr Leslie Morgan (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

BUCKINGHAM PALACE July 28th

The Princess Royal, President, UK Fashion and Textile Associatio­n, this morning opened the Harris Tweed Dyehouse and Blending Department at Harris Tweed Hebrides Limited, Shawbost Mill, North Shawbost, Isle of Lewis, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-lieutenant of Western Isles (Mr Donald Martin).

Her Royal Highness, Patron, Northern Lighthouse Board, this afternoon visited Eilean Trodday Lighthouse, Little Minch, off the Isle of Skye.

The Duke of Gloucester, Patron, the Society of Antiquarie­s of London, this afternoon attended the Fellows’ Day Reception at Kelmscott Manor, Kelmscott, and was received by Sir Antony Baldry (Deputy Lieutenant of Oxfordshir­e).
