‘Enormous loss’ of mother and twins
The family of a mother and her 12-year-old twins killed in a car crash as her husband looked on from another vehicle has spoken of their “enormous loss”.
Jane Baker-lockett, 43, and her children, James and Amy Gaskin, died when their car collided with a lorry on the A361 in North Devon. Her husband Paul Lockett, the children’s stepfather, was travelling in another car with her 14-year-old son when the accident happened on Monday.
The twins’ father, Christopher Gaskin, 43, speaking from his home in Luton, told Mailonline: “They came into this world together and sadly they have gone together. It is an absolute tragedy and they were fantastic kids who were inseparable.”
Mr Lockett’s mother, Maria Lockett, said her son had been left “absolutely devastated”.
