Picnic spot

Alan Mcfadyen, a wildlife photographer, took this picture of a kingfisher, which then perched on his camouflaged head (above), meal in beak, while friend John Hannah was on hand to capture the moment. Mr Mcfadyen, 47, photographed the bird hunting fish in the Tarff, in Inverness-shire. It dashed its catch against his head before gulping it down and returning to the water for seconds.
