Trump sets off on a 17-day golfing holiday

President Trump will today set out on a 17-day escape to his private golf club in central New Jersey. Mr Trump was fiercely critical of the Obamas for their annual holidays in Martha’s Vineyard and Hawaii, and during his election campaign, Mr Trump implausibly declared: “I would not be a president who took vacations. I would not be a president that takes time off.”
