Daryll Neita, 100m and 4 x 100m

If I’m competing in the evening I’ll try and lie in as long as I can. I’m definitely a sleeper. I’ll probably have a late breakfast around 11am and then I’m not someone who likes to be out exploring.

I’ll go back to my room and have a little nap again or stick something to watch on my laptop. I’ll definitely do some vlogging because I’m really into that. So I’ll take my camera round with me and record what I get up to behind the scenes. But most of it involves lying in bed, chilling and visualising my race. I like to feel really chilled.

I usually have dinner after my race but I’ll have a shake or a cereal bar before I race. I like things to be quite organised but that is something I’m trying to change.

My coach is trying to prepare me for anything because I like things to be done in a certain way. So he wants me to get used to things not being perfect to teach me not to get flustered.

We want to get into a ‘no excuse’ place where no matter what happens, you have to be able to focus on your race.
