Slowdown in Snapchat growth

Snapchat is expected to reveal a slowdown in the number of users joining the social media app this week.

Second-quarter results for parent company Snap, tomorrow, are set to show the app hitting 174m daily users, up 22pc against a year ago, but slower than in previous quarters.

Snap has struggled since March’s flotation.
