Renault to open factory in Iran

Renault is today expected to announce a long-awaited deal to build more than 150,000 cars a year in Iran.

International sanctions forced the French carmaker to put growth plans on hold until Iran’s nuclear agreement last year, but the deal is now ready to go ahead, a government source told AFP.
