Former model’s coffee company is shut down
A former Miss England contestant has been visited by trading standards after her coffee company was shut down for selling weight-loss products that were unlicensed for sale in Britain.
Charlotte Thomson, a former FHM model, had been fronting a campaign to help sell the coffee through her social media platforms, which are followed by thousands of her fans.
This week her business was forced to close when the 30-year-old was told that her business was operating illegally. The forced closure comes less than a year after Miss Thomson started her own branch in Cornwall, having worked previously as a representative of “miracle” brand Valentus Coffee.
